On March 9, 2018, Mr. Lei Chaozi, Chief of the Science & Technology Department of MOE (Ministry of Education), led a delegation to BAICIRS. The guests were greeted by BIT’s Vice President Chen Jie, who also serves as the Director of BAICIRS, and BAICIRS’s Deputy Director Mr. Zhou Yong.

Besides introducing the guests about the overall running scenario of BAICIRS, Mr. Chen Jie specifically highlighted the center’s achievements in micro-nano biorobotics, artificial neural interface, and biorobotics, the efforts and breakthroughs in key technologies related to active endoscopic capsule robots, puncture auxiliary medical robots, and soft exoskeleton, as well as the demonstrative applications of intelligent robots for assistance in households and special industrial environments.
