On March 22, 2018, CAE Academician Li Lanjuan, founder of Shulan Health, and the leadership of Shulan paid a visit to BAICIRS. BIT’s Vice President Chen Jie, who also serves as the Director of BAICIRS, greeted the guests.

BAICIRS's Deputy Director Mr. Zhou Yong introduced to the guests the overall running scenario of the center, with more emphases put on BAICIRS’s efforts for medical-engineering integration, including micro-nano biorobotics, artificial neural interfaces, active endoscopic robotics, and puncture surgery robotics.
